You are seeking Reiki Training and want to find the best fit with a Reiki Master Teacher. It’s very important to learn from someone you can trust and who will be accessible to you for the long haul. Whether you plan to learn Reiki for your own health and personal well-being, to share Reiki with a sick friend or relative or you desire to become a Reiki practitioner in a healthcare setting or private practice—finding the “right” training is vitally important.

I have been practicing Reiki for over 25 years. I’ve experienced personal healing in many ways and continue to actively heal myself in daily Reiki practice. I’ve successfully worked with people from all walks of life, finding common ground and aiding them in their personal and professional development. 90% or my students continue learning with me in higher level course.

Japanese Usui Reiki Ryoho Course Levels
Shoden Reiki Level I
Minimum length of Reiki course: The equivalent of 2 full days training- In-person attunements/reiju: 4 (usually taught in 5 weekly sessions)
Reiki Practices:
· Kenyoku Ho
· Joshin Kokyu Ho
· Seishin Toitsu
· Japanese energetic system
· Concept of hara/tanden
· Hands-on healing for the self
· Hands-on healing for others
· The Reiki Precepts
Okuden Reiki Level II
Minimum length of course: The equivalent of 1 day plus opportunity for students to develop professional practitioner skilIs- In person Reiki attunements/reiju: 3 (usually taught in 5 weekly sessions)

· Byosen Reikan Ho
· Reiji Ho
· Learn 3 Reiki symbols and mantras
· Reiki Symbol and mantra meditations

Shinpiden Reiki Level III (Master)
Minimum length of course: The equivalent of 1+ full days- In-person Reiki attunements/reiju: 1+ (usually taught in 5 weekly sessions)

· Learn 1 Reiki symbol and mantra
· Reiki Symbol and mantra meditation
· Review Reiki Level I and II practices and concepts
· Review Reiki Level I and II practices and concepts
Gokuikaiden Level lV (Shihan/Teacher)
Minimum length of course: The equivalent of 2 full days plus opportunity for students to develop professional teaching skills In-person Reiki attunements/reiju: 1+ (usually taught in 10 weekly sessions)
· Perform Reiki attunement (including combined attunement for
Reiki Masters trained in any tradition)
· Perform Reiju
· Reiki Symbol and mantra meditations
· Review Reiki Level I, II and III practices and concepts
Several class meetings per each level is preferred by the Shihan in order to give sufficient time for practice and integration of the material but other arrangements may be possible based on the student’s needs.
Handbook for each course level will be provided, along with appropriate handouts.
The Gokuikaiden Reiki Level IV (Shihan/Master Teacher) course will also include handbooks for all levels and certificate templates that can be downloaded and printed for your future students.
The distance courses will be taught in a combination of face to face webinar, web chat, email and video format. Course assignments will be provided for the student to complete at their own pace. Handbook for each course level will be provided, along with appropriate handouts.

Gendai Reiki courses are offered in a local Traverse City, MI venue. All course levels are available in a group class setting or one on one format. Training costs & expectations
The level of competence achieved and demonstrated for acceptable course mastery is easily achievable with the student’s commitment but does require sincere focus and personal accountability.
The same level of rigor is required for Distance and Local training. Full participation is necessary and must include appropriate class participation demonstrating assignment completion and a thorough understanding of concepts and practices.
For Distance courses all agreed times allotted for Teacher contact must be respected. As well as, commitment to all assigned practice.
For local classes, it is necessary that students attend all scheduled class meetings. All readings and additional homework assignments must be completed by the student.
